FINLAND – RAY (Finland’s Slot Machine Association) operator of the lone international casino and 200 restaurant table game locations plus multiple arcades around the country, is updating its arcades with live casino tables including black jack- roulette and poker, chosing to extend their collaboration with Swedish casino distributor ICM Casino management AB (ICM) with the purchase of gaming chairs manufactured by Italian chair manufacturer, StylGame.


Gaming specialist, Table Games, Miikka Mäki (Casino Helsinki) said: “We are very satisfied with the models and quality of the chairs from StylGame and also the service that ICM provides.”


CEO (ICM) Wolfram Dahlström commented: “We have supplied Casino Helsinki since 2005 and it has been a successful collaboration. When we had the opportunity to equip both Casino Helsinki and the slot arcades that RAY have chosen for a special project, we felt very humbled and we are determined to continue to give RAY our best service and provide top quality products.”

UK – SIS has appointed Mike Jones as Director of Software Engineering following a successful interim period. In his newly created role, Mr. Jones is responsible for driving transformation in the way that


SIS produces software to underpin SIS’ diversifying and innovative product offering.


His career in software development spans more than 30 years, including experience with major brands such as London Underground, Barclays, Logica, ABB and Alstom. He joins the company from his latest role at Sony PlayStation.


Working closely with SIS teams in London and Salford, Jones will be based at SIS’ headquarters in Milton Keynes. SIS Chief Executive Gary Smith welcomed Jones to the company and said he was eager to see him apply his many years’ experience in the field to help the diversification of SIS’ product suite.

Speaking at the opening of the 2016 Australasian Gaming Show (AGE) in Sydney, Australia, Lawrence Shepherd, founder and managing director of Independent Gaming unveiled the result of a technology co-operation between his company and Merkur Gaming.

SG Gaming signs three year agreement with Gala Bingo

SG Gaming has signed a new three year agreement with Gala Bingo to provide terminals and industry leading content across their estate.


Te agreement sees Gala Bingo investing in a further 750 of SG Gaming’s HD T8 terminals in venues across the UK, enhancing Gala’s already competitive gaming machine offer. Te three year agreement builds on a highly successful long-term relationship between the two companies, extending the partnership to September 2019. It means Gala will operate over 2,000 Triple 7


and T8 connected terminals across their estate, with access to SG Gaming’s leading Barcrest content library. Te agreement sees SG Gaming continue its supply of industry leading content across the Gala estate allowing customers to play feature rich titles and player favorites from the Barcrest, WMS and Bally gaming brands.
