in 1842 as the Singapore Sporting Club operating at the Serangoon Road Race Course at Ferrar Park. It became an agent of the Tote Board in 1988


and today is the only authorised horse racing club in Singapore and part of the Malayan Racing Association which also regulates the turf clubs in Malaysia. Te first race meeting was held in 1843 and
