NEWS AND THE WINNER IS...

Voting for the TC Awards 2017 came to a close last month, and we’re delighted to now reveal the winners to you (don’t worry, there’s no Oscars-style foul up here!).

At the beginning of the year, we were proud to unveil the shortlist for the 2017 Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards – a collection of the best products and services from across the industry that had graced our pages over the previous 12 months. Covering as broad a spectrum as possible, with everything from dispensers and vacuum cleaners, to robots and even an escalator mop, we like to believe that our annual awards act as a showcase for the wonderful services that this industry has to offer, but in the end it was down to you, dear readers, to pick your winners.

1ST PLACE

FREGOMATIC FROM SPRIMSOL In first place, hailing all the way from sunny Spain, is Sprimsol with their innovative Fregomatic mop wringer. This easy-to- use system automatically wrings out mops, rags and other cleaning materials in just three seconds, taking away the often laborious task of wringing them out manually.

Designed to attach to most conventional buckets and cleaning equipment, the battery-powered Fregomatic’s intuitive controls and minimum care requirements make it easy to use and markedly reduces the physical effort for users.

Speaking after winning the award, Jesús Barberá, Commercial Manager at Sprimsol, said: “For everyone who is a part of Sprimsol, this is great news.

“We are pleased that the cleaning sector acknowledges the value and advantages of the new Fregomatic automatic wringer. It not only increases performance at work but also takes care of the health of operators, which is of great importance to us.

“We hope that the professionals of the cleaning and hygiene sector in Great Britain can get to know the advantages of this innovation, and that they can benefit from using it in their own work processes.

6 | Tomorrow’s Cleaning

Over the past three months, we’ve been keeping an eye over the voting numbers, seeing the top spots chop and change over the course of the voting period, and trying to predict who would eventually come out on top. It was very close right through to the end, with only a handful of votes separating the top few spaces. However, now that voting has closed and the several thousand votes that we’ve had have been counted and verified, we’re delighted to announce our winners.

“Thank you to the team at Tomorrow’s Cleaning, and to everyone who has supported us with their votes!”

TESTIMONIALS “Very
