ALEX REID ENTERS NEW PARTNERSHIP
WITH UNISEC Laundry chemical and machine supplier, Alex Reid has added to its range of laundry machines as it concluded a deal with Unisec to act as UK sales representative for a selection of its dry cleaning machines.
Alex Reid already offers an extensive laundry and dry cleaning machine portfolio that includes industrial washer extractors, tumble dryers, finishing equipment and a selection of dry cleaning machines. The addition of the Unisec units will provide customers with more choice in machines using both perchloroethyene and alternative solvents, with load capacities from eight to 140 kilos.

INNOVATION AWARD GOES TO THE FIRST FULLY AUTONOMOUS FLOOR SCRUBBER
FROM NILFISK The first fully autonomous floor scrubber from Nilfisk won the innovation award in the floor cleaning category at the Cleaning Show in London, with ‘innovation at the heart of the product’ a key benefit, according to the jury’s verdict.
The innovation award in the Floor Cleaning category went to Nilfisk for the Nilfisk Liberty A50 – the first fully autonomous floor scrubber from Nilfisk – and the first launch in The Horizon Program from Nilfisk, a strategic and long- term innovation programme.

Alex Reid will carry the full Unisec range, which includes Perchloroethylene machines and multi-solvent machines. There are two types of multisolvent machines – the Junior HCM and the Ecoplus series.

The Nilfisk Liberty A50 has been developed in collaboration with Carnegie Robotics, a leading provider of advances robotics sensors and platforms. It combines key features as CopyCat mode, Safety enabling vision and Fill in Mode and is launched in a limited number during the first half of 2017.
According to the jury, the Liberty was given the award because ‘innovation is at the heart of the solution’.
