Like its tub counterpart, this machine is lightweight (at just 5kg) yet packs the power to deliver pristine cleaning results.


Without the hassle of a trailing cable, the VBU is ideal for daytime cleaning around customers and employees, or in healthcare settings.


A lithium ion battery provides more than 60 minutes of runtime, and fully re-charges in 2.5 hours. This 43.8V battery supplies some 312W of vacuum motor power. A battery level indicator lets the operator know when re-charging will be required.


High filtration is provided by a HEPA 13 media bag. While this level of filtration is highly effective, some of this dust tends to escape when the bag is being changed. Another design nicety of the Valet Battery Upright addresses this problem. As the bag is withdrawn from the machine it closes automatically, so the operator can breathe easily.


Whether cleaning in a busy environment or one where electricity points are scarce or inaccessible, the operator can glide around obstacles and smoothly complete the task with no fear of causing a trip hazard.


High productivity – covering 265m² per hour – can be achieved and sustained with ease. The brush width of the VBU is 29cm, while brush speed is 3,000rpm.

be more productive. The VBU can lie flat and still vacuum effectively under beds and furniture. A self-adjusting cleaning head also allows the vacuum to float evenly over all flooring surfaces. And the brush has an edge cleaning feature for better vacuuming by walls and furniture.


So while vacuuming may seem mundane to the bystander, not all vacuums are the same, as advances in design and technology make the daily routine smoother and more efficient.
