Re/Insurance Leader of the Year WINNER: Tom Bolt, Lloyd’s


Last year’s winner Tom Bolt, director of performance management at Lloyd’s, retains his crown as re/insurance leader of the year in 2015, with an overall score of 7.35 out of 10. Bolt joined Lloyd’s in September 2009, and was previously managing director of Marlborough Managing Agency. He has extensive


experience in international insurance and reinsurance across the UK, US and Europe and has held senior roles in Berkshire Hathaway’s reinsurance divisions and as president of some of its insurance subsidiaries.


Second place was again taken by Berkshire Hathaway executive Ajit Jain, who is being talked of as a possible successor to Warren


Buffett at the head of the company and who received a score of 7.16. In third place this year, up a position from 2014, is Denis Kessler from SCOR, who achieved a mark of 7.03 out of 10. Fourth place goes to Mike McGavick of XL Group, who achieved a score of 6.89.
