Hannover Re goes to the top of the 2015 leaderboard with a score of 7.761 out of 10, up three places on its position on the 2014 rankings, scraping home against last year’s winner Munich Re, which had a score of 7.756. XL Catlin enters the rankings in third place with a score of 7.67, a strong showing for the newly merged entity, and Swiss Re, which


was third last year, comes fourth with a score of 7.62. Just below this comes SCOR, with an overall mark of 7.60 out of 10 and down a place on the previous year. PartnerRe remains


at sixth place with a score of 6.96, Everest Re rises from eighth last year to seventh this year with a score of 6.91 and Berkshire Hathaway slides from fifth place in 2014 to eighth place this year with a score of 6.79. Finally Gen Re falls two places from seventh to ninth with its score of 6.49.
