Best ILS Advisor WINNER: Swiss Re Capital Markets


This year the top spot is again claimed by Swiss Re Capital Markets, with a score of 6.66, ahead of second placed Munich Re Capital Markets on 6.37, the latter having been third in the rankings in 2014. Third place was Aon Securities on 6.21, down a place on the 2014 ranking, while Goldman Sachs remains at fourth place with a


score of 6.18. GC Securities climbs a place to fifth with a score of 6.07, while Willis Capital Markets falls a place to sixth with a score of 6.02.


Credit Suisse remains in seventh place with a score of 5.90, just beating JLT Capital Markets with a score of 5.89, which remains


in eighth place. In April of this year Swiss Re Capital Markets announced that it had successfully led the issuance of €285 million ($325 million)


of insurance-linked securities by Benu Capital Limited on behalf of AXA Global Life, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AXA. The securities cover excess mortality events in France, Japan and the US and according to Swiss Re Capital Markets it is the largest excess mortality issuance since 2007.
