Best Reinsurer for Client Service (GWP of more than $2bn)


WINNER: Swiss Re


There are nine shortlisted candidates for the category of best reinsurer for client service with gross written premium of more than $2 billion, one more than in 2014. First for the second year running is Swiss Re, with a score of 7.88 out of 10, followed by SCOR on 7.45, again unchanged on its 2014 place in the rankings.


Hannover Re is third in the rankings, up two places on its 2014 position, with a score of 7.404, followed very closely by Munich Re


with a score of 7.396, down a place on its 2014 ranking. Fifth place is taken by the newly merged entity XL Catlin, which was not in the 2014 rankings, with a score of 7.28 out of 10, with


PartnerRe following in sixth place, down two on 2014, with a score of 6.95. Transatlantic Re remains at seventh with a score of 6.72 out of 10 and Gen Re stays at eighth with a score of 6.22. Finally Mapfre


Re enters the list at ninth place with a score of 6.17.
