Best Reinsurer for Innovation (GWP of more than $2bn)

Innovation is always welcomed by the market and this year first place is again taken by Swiss Re, whose score of 7.58 out of 10 is up on the 7.40 it recorded in the 2014 listings. Hannover Re retains its second place in the rankings with a score of 7.14, followed by the newly merged entity XL Catlin whose


score of 7.082 knocks SCOR down a place with its own figure of 7.080 out of 10. Munich Re drops a ranking from fourth in 2014 to fifth this year with a score of 7.06, while Berkshire Hathaway climbs a place from


the 2014 ranking with a score of 6.73. Everest Re falls slightly from sixth to seventh with a score of 6.61, while PartnerRe falls three places from fifth to eighth with a score of 6.38.


Finally Transatlantic Re comes in at ninth with a score of 6.12.
