44 Pure Perfection in Thermodynamics

Julabo PRESTOTM W91 and W92: the particularly strong, highly dynamic temperature control systems of the newly developed PRESTO® reactor systems, mini plants, pilot plants, Kilo labs, vacuum chambers and many more.

family. They unite high efficiency with unequalled power e.g. for

The PRESTOTM W91 and W92 cover a working temperature range from -92°C to +250°C. They provide up to 29 kW cooling capacity and up to 36 kW heating capacity, and they are robust and reliable even at high room temperatures up to +40°C. Highly efficient components in all systems compensate for exothermic and endothermic reactions extremely fast. Powerful, maintenance-free pumps deliver up to 5.5 bar / 80 l/min. They guarantee high flow rates with constant pressure and dynamically balance viscosity changes of the bath fluid. The integrated 5.7’’ colour, industrial touch screen of the new PRESTO®

explicit and easy to understand warning and help texts – all these are only a few of the many advantages.

Multiple interfaces permit flexible application, e.g. control and regulation via an USB interface, data logging via USB or SD card, integration into bus solutions (e.g. profibus), and remote control across Ethernet networks or the remote control via Julabo’s WirelessTEMP solution.

Competent pre-sales support and access to additional services ensure that the customers always receive the most optimal solution to their temperature-control needs. Julabo offers its customers installation and calibration services, documentation for instrument qualification, and user training so users can start using their instruments right away and benefit from years of safe operation. 27031pr@reply-direct.com

CORIO with New Models

The new circulators of the CORIO™ series will replace the successful Economy series models and give users improved performance specifications, expanded functionality, and even greater value for the money. CORIO™ circulators from Julabo simplify daily work and routine tasks in laboratories, such as during basic research or materials testing. The new series includes a variety of models ranging from immersion circulators, open bath circulators, heating circulators as well as powerful refrigerated circulators. An extensive range of accessories, such as inserts, tubes, adapters, and more ensures that CORIO™ units are readily adaptable to individual applications. More information about the CORIO™ series is available at the CORIO™ catalogue.

The new CORIO Refrigerated/heating circulator models CD-601F, CD-900F, CD-1000F, and CD-1001F offer very high value for the money. With the addition of stepless, automatic adaptation of cooling capacity to the working temperature, they are very energy-efficient. With a working temperature range of -40 to +150°C and heating capacity of 2 kW, the new CORIOTM CD series is ideal for routine work and standardized tasks. Depending on the unit, the stainless steel bath tanks have a filling volume of 5 to 56 L. Pump capacity of all units is 15 l/min and 0.35 bar. As a result, these new refrigerated circulators have all the power they need to control the temperature of a wide variety of samples and applications.

39665pr@reply-direct.com PURA – the Revolution in Water Baths

The new PURA water baths from Julabo are setting a completely new standard. Their modern design supports the practical features of water baths while the enamel finish provides increased efficiency and a range of additional advantages in everyday work in the laboratory. The enamel surface coatings are scratch-resistant and too smooth for bacteria and other organisms to take hold and breed. The special enamel surface coating of Julabo PURA water baths can only be destroyed with the use of brute force. PURA water bath series come in five models in differing sizes. With a filling volume range of 1 to 30 litres, they are suitable for both small and large temperature control tasks. All PURA water baths cover a working temperature range from +25°C to +99.9°C and feature temperature stability of ±0.2°C.

The heating capacity for the two large PURA models amounts to 2 kW; for the two medium-size models 1.3 kW; and for the smallest water bath 0.8 kW. The PURA 4 model measures just 21 x 38 x 30 cm but still offers all the advantages of the PURA series despite limited space. With a filling volume of 1 to 4.8 litres, even the smallest sample containers can be tempered without problems.

The unit is controlled directly from the front and the bright display makes it easy to read even from a distance. The lift-up bath covers (available as an accessory) can be removed and mounted without the use of tools and equally operated by right-handed as well as left-handed users. There are no disturbing parts inside the bath, so the flat surface can be used to reliably temper even small sample containers. The internal timer function ensures precision and reliability, and an alarm signals the end of the specified time.
