MEMBER NEWS IN BRIEF
New website boost for Marketing Peak District & Derbyshire
Marketing Peak District & Derbyshire, the area's official tourist board, has launched a new, easy-to-navigate website. The simple-to-use platform
helps holidaymakers track all the details they need, including a wide variety of activities, events and the best places to eat and drink. Visitors can now cherry pick
their own itineraries thanks to a planner tool, as well as tracking down special offers on everything from accommodation to eating out.
While the website has a clean,
contemporary look, the address remains the same –
www.visitpeakdistrict.com – to ensure continuity. The website builds on the
success of its previous version, which scored its best-ever results in 2016. More than 1.3 million viewed it throughout the year - an increase of 20% on 2015.
