ABERYSTWYTH Y FFARMERS
03
This is a very convivial rural pub – with a very good reputation for its food. It’s praised by food writers and – closer to home – by happy locals too. Local produce is also a mainstay. Rhodri Edwards (the chef), wife Esther and their team reckon that they are ‘lucky we don’t have to venture far to find fine produce’. So expect regularly changing menus based on what’s available seasonally and locally, and what Rhodri fancies cooking. It’s not just a foodie pub – its choice of beers (and wines) is guided by what the customers enjoy. Llanfihangel y Creuddyn, near Aberystwyth SY23 4LA 01974 261275
