Now in its tenth year, the Stage Diary is not only an important guide to what’s on in all regions, but is also an on-line web introduction to potential expats researching community life in Spain. The diary also acts as a planning guide to assist groups avoid unnecessary clashes of production dates.
Cantabile Ladies Choir: Following the
Choir's
Christmas Concert that raised over 200€ for Church Funds, their attention is now turned to rehearsals for a spring concert. If you are interested in joining a group of sociable, friendly ladies, you will be given a warm welcome. Rehearsals take place every Friday from 3pm to 5pm at La Siesta Church. Caprice: The ladies are pleased to confirm details of their first two concerts entitled, 'Let the Song Begin'. They will be performing on Wednesday 8th March, 8pm at Bar Enzo in Moraira (tickets 5€) and on Saturday 11th
March, 3pm at Mas la Pau, Lliber in support of Jalon Valley Help (tickets 8€). Tickets for both concerts are available from 696 514 613.
Careline Theatre: “Listen very carefully. I shall say zis only once.” Following their hugely successful pantomime Pinocchio, Careline Theatre is now busy planning their May production. This is likely to be 'Allo 'Allo in fond memory of the late Gordon Kaye. If you would like to get involved with Careline, go to

Costa Barber Singers: Barbershop is still alive and kicking and meets every Thursday evening at 7.45pm, at Casal d'associaciones in Benissa, behind Mercadona. If you are interested in joining,

The Choir are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year and are holding a special concert at Benitachell Church on 7th April at 7:30pm. Entrance is free with an exit collection. They will also be sharing the stage at the Teulada Auditori on 6th May with the internationally-acclaimed, Welsh Ponterddulais Male Choir. Tickets price 12€ are already on sale online at
instanticket.es and at Teulada and Moraira Ayuntamientos.
Footlights: The Group is looking forward to an action packed 2017. First rehearsal Monday 13th March at 7pm, an open meeting to put into motion their performance plans. Why not pop along and join in? There will also be a ‘Spring Fair’ on Saturday 25th March, including, tombola, fabulous cakes and numerous stalls. All the above at the Footlights Centre. Jávea Players: Bob Larbey's gentle and very amusing comedy, ‘Sand Castles’ about class warfare on a British beach plays the Jávea Players' Studio Theatre from Monday 27th March to Saturday 1st April.
