FF - Your healthy magazine Please Charities, your help is needed to kit it out!

This month the Asociacion Amigos Europeos de Jávea (AAEdJ) has taken delivery of another brand new state-of-the-art ambulance.

But the ambulance vehicle alone has cost a fortune. Now it has to be fitted out with all the vital life saving equipment ...from a defibrillator to a carrying chair, from a long spine board to an oxygen system ...and so on. In fact, fitting out the ambulance is like equipping a small hospital, and the AAEdJ would really appreciate your help.

Throughout almost the whole of the Costa Blanca North the Asociacion Amigos Europeos De Jávea provides a private ambulance service akin to intensive care units on wheels. From Benidorm to Oliva (and inland covering towns like Jalon, Parcent and Pego) this is a private emergency ambulance service available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

Their personnel are certified in critical and emergency care, their vehicles have your home address details pre-set into their onboard systems, thus ensuring that even if you live in a remote area, even where GPS doesn’t work, they will still be able to reach you quickly.

The membership cost of this service is JUST €50 for the WHOLE YEAR for the WHOLE FAMILY with every family member receiving a bespoke quality, strong, credit card type membership card to keep in their purse or wallet, so that if any emergency happens while you are away from your home, those around you will know the number to call.

But with all the best intentions, the membership fees will not be enough to equip this new ambulance. This is why in the past Charity Shops, the Freemasons and other Charities have been so important helping to purchase the emergency equipment, and the AAEdJ requests your help again.

If you feel that you, or your organisation, could help raise a sum of money towards something for this vehicle, please contact Laure Bolufer (the AAEdJ Registration Manager) on 96 579 6099 from 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday, and Laure will be extremely grateful to receive your call.
