becoming a Radisson Hotel, and recently added 15,000- square feet of conference space, bringing its total meeting facilities up to 100,000-square feet, including a 6,400- square foot room that is ideal for general sessions or small trade shows, and four smaller conference and board rooms. In addition, The Claridge - A Radisson Hotel recently opened Atlantic City’s first rooftop bar, VUE, offer- ing expansive space for both outdoor or indoor events. The property is home to the Holtzman Art Gallery, as well.


Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa is spending $50 million on projects, including an outdoor swimming pool and beer garden, plus a new eatery that debuted last summer. A new nightclub, Premier, also recently opened with space designed to affect “a theatrical experience for partygoers” and compete with blockbuster clubs in Las Vegas, New York and Miami, the resort said in a statement. The space has been constructed at the site of the former MIXX night- club and has replaced mur.mur, Borgata’s flagship night- club. In addition, 25,000-square feet of new meeting and conference space is being added, along with a new fine dining concept by celebrity chef Michael Symon in the spring.

which extends 100-yards out over the Atlantic Ocean. One Atlantic produces extraordinary events with spectacular views of the sea, sand, and boardwalk through floor-to- ceiling windows. In the heart of Atlantic City’s tourism district is premier out- let shopping at Tanger Outlets, The Walk. Bass Pro Shops, the famous Outdoor World is the newest addition to the downtown shopping district. Tanger Outlets, The Walk consist of over 100 tax-free (on clothing) retail stores.


Steel Pier is currently under construction and is developing a 200-foot-high observation wheel, which will offer riders sweeping views of the ocean and Atlantic City skyline from inside climate-controlled gondolas. This $14 million project is scheduled to open in mid-2017.


Site work has begun on the Atlantic City Gateway Project, a public and private partnership with AC Devco that will include a new Stockton University residential campus, an academic building accommodating 1,800 students, a stu- dent center and housing overlooking the beach and boardwalk, as well as a parking garage topped by new offices for South Jersey Gas.
