Chauncey Hotel and Conference Center

The private, estate-like setting of Chauncey Hotel and Conference Center near Princeton, NJ, is no ordi- nary setting for meetings and events. Nestled on 370 acres, the venue is IACC (International Association of Conference Centers)-approved and provides 10,500-square feet of meeting space in its conference center.

Planners can choose from standard and executive meetings rooms that are fully-equipped and feature plenty of natural light. These rooms also boast comprehensive visual, audio and computer equipment. Video teleconferencing is an option, too, and wireless Internet is available throughout the center. Attendees also will appreciate the on-site business center and secluded, serene environment.

Chauncey offers several signature meeting offerings, including the historic Laurie House. Groups can contract the entire house and its seven guest rooms for complete privacy. The meeting room accom- modates up to 20 guests, and the house boasts a living room, library, dining room and patio for break- out sessions and private dining, making guests feel they have their own private conference center.

“Chauncey Hotel and Conference Center is a distraction-free environment,” said Cindy McQuaid, direc- tor of sales and marketing for the property. “Groups will find 370 beautiful acres for team building and private dining. The Garden Pavilion tent is available for a unique setting from May through October. Meetings with 100 guest rooms and meeting space can ‘buy’ the entire conference center for a house- exclusive event.”

Attendees will feel like royalty with the announcement of afternoon tea, which is served Friday through Sunday. Tea is served on fine, English bone china in the Solomon Dining Room. The option of a Classic Tea includes a personal pot of tea, tea sandwiches, assorted sweets and freshly baked scones with house-made jam and English Devonshire cream. Another option that attendees will find memorable is Royal Tea, which adds a glass of champagne or a mimosa to the Classic Tea.

Attendees can enjoy a bit of fresh air on the outdoor nature trails for a leisurely walk or a brisk bike ride (rental bikes available). They’ll find they can discuss business, unwind and work on their form on sever- al nearby golf courses.
