Segways, the Summit Bicycle Tour, and our Pocono Pipeline Slide. We also offer skiing, snowboarding and snowtubing, and our summer outdoor waterpark, Camelbeach. There is plenty to do at Camelback Resort."
For those who prefer the city to the mountains, Sarah K. Anello, venue sales specialist for Center City District Parks, discusses their three park options avail- able for event rental in Philadelphia,PA. "The most popular is Dilworth Park on the west side of City Hall. John F. Collins Park is in the heart of the shopping dis- trict at 17th and Chestnut, and Sister Cities Park at 18th and the Parkway on Logan Square is nestled between Swann Fountain and the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul."
In addition to fresh air and natural light, outdoor events offer more freedom than indoor events and a change fromthe typ- ical event held indoors, notes Anello. “You start with a blank customizable space. You can tailor
according to your specifications."
"Dilworth is the host of large tented events, and awareness campaigns for brands and non-profits,” she continues. “In the winter, when the Rothman Ice Rink and Cabin is in the park, it is the coolest place in Center City for a holiday party. John F. Collins is the perfect loca- tion for an intimate outdoor wedding reception, first look or engagement. Sister Cities Park is a popular family loca- tion and hosts parties year around.”
The parks offer a great deal of ambience, as well. "All of our parks have fountains, and water features are one of the things that make us special,” says Anello. “We have had several lighting companies change the color of the fountains with lights. Photographers love the reflection from the fountain at Dilworth Park when it is off. Depending on the angle of the shot, you can see the surrounding sky- line in themirror-like fountain. At John F. Collins Park, the soothing sound of the water cycling through the fountain drowns out the noisy city street. The park
