The custom-designed, inter- active program is led by facili- tators who tap into years of


experience with senior leaders and their teams. Drawing upon the knowledge and lessons of the Battle of Gettysburg, attendees are able to study the real-time problems that were faced and the approaches that proved successful (and those that failed) during the war. These lessons can be used today to improve communication, teamwork and, ultimately, the bottom line. Understanding the pas- sions of the battle can bring passion back to a group’s mission to touch the lives of customers as well as those of the employees themselves.


Attendees will find that they are standing in the same place where generals and soldiers once stood and where historic leadership decisions were made with dramatic and immediate consequences. The pro- grams focus on practical, take-home actions designed to help reach the organizations’ goals. Attendees also will find that the program helps to enhance communication; develop and empower veteran and new company leadership; help in setting goals and solving problems - even under pressure; and build up team skills.


Additionally, exclusive access is offered to the Gettysburg American Museum of the Civil War, which houses thousands of artifacts and documents related to the war, the Battle of Gettysburg and those who fought and lived it. Themuseumand visitor cen- ter is part of 6,000 acres of battlefield, which is now serene Pennsylvania countryside.


Attendees can enjoy a bus tour with a licensed bat- tlefield guide to learn about the valor shown and sac- rifices made there, walk the battle lines at their leisure, and view more than 1,300 monuments locat- ed on the grounds.
