A trip to the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania will provide groups engag- ing in outdoor events with plenty of chances to enjoy their surroundings in a wide range of ways.


MichelleWescott,director of group sales for Camelback Lodge and Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark says that the resort offers many options for outdoor events. “Trails End Patio is located at the base of the mountain at the end of our Nile Mile Trail. It offers a large patio with two gas fire pits, perfect for team bonding. We also can set up fire pits for making s’mores.”


“Our newest building, Basecamp Lodge, will be open for the 2016-2017 winter season,” she continues. “The new Basecamp Lodge, available year-round, will be able to accommodate group and corporate events in the most modern and comfortable snowtubing facility in the galaxy."


Wescott notes that these outdoor spaces allow groups to enjoy the natural sur- roundings of the Pocono Mountains. Group attendees get to enjoy the fresh air in a setting with views that they do not otherwise get to experience every day.
