Mantagos states that the most frequent outdoor functions or activities held at Spooky Nook are sporting events. Spooky Nook is home to the U.S. Women’s Olympic Field Hockey Team and has hosted several international test series matches for them. They have hosted a NBC broadcasted match for the team,as well.
“We have hosted a Father’s Day 5K and anAcre BreakerAdventure Race, which is similar to a Spartan Run,” she explains. “We also have hosted an iCanBike camp that teaches children with disabilities how to ride a bike… Furthermore,we have hosted company picnics - both large and small - and employee appreciation events that include food or food trucks, music, backyard games, and various activi- ties."
The options are varied and extensive for outdoor group events and activities at each of these unique locations.
Planners have many resources at the ready at each property, too, as they can provide flexibility and expert planning assistance along with ample experi- ence when it comes to planning func- tions in the great outdoors.
Whether choosing a downtown park, a mountain resort, a university campus, museum or sports complex, each offers plenty of variety to go along with natural ele- ments that will bring atten- dees an experience that exceeds expectations at every turn.
