Your Christmas Present Problem solved!

Probably the most thoughtful gift you can buy anybody..... membership of a Private Ambulance Service..... for just 50€ for them and their family FOR A WHOLE YEAR.

The monetary cost of a gift is definitely not everything. It truly is the thought that counts, and nothing says “I care about you” more than this present.

Throughout almost the whole of the Costa Blanca North the Asociacion Amigos Europeos de Jávea (AAEdJ) provides a private ambulance service akin to Intensive Care Units on wheels.

Membership of the private ambulance service provided by AAEdJa gives peace of mind, it gives a sense of well being, and it could very well mean the difference between life and death in the event of an accident or illness. What more reassuring present could you possibly give?

The Asociacion is only called the Asociacion Amigos Europeos de Jávea because Jávea is where the Asociacion started, and indeed to this day its Head Office is still based there. But in fact, whether you are in Albir, Benissa, Calpe, Denia,.....all the way through to..... Xativa (okay we admit we couldn’t find any North Costa Blanca towns beginning with a Y or a Z!) the AAEdJ will most likely cover your local area. Call Laure Bolufer their Registration Manager on 96 579 6099 from 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday to check. Laure will work with you to pinpoint exactly where your house is on the map, and establish the fastest routes to it and this and other information will be stored in their system.

So what does this actually mean? Simply put it means that your address details, your medical records, your current medication levels and your personal details will all be carried in the onboard computers throughout their fleet of ambulances.

Whether a member is taken ill at home, or elsewhere, an AAEdJ ambulance will rush to them, give emergency assistance and then speed them to the most appropriate hospital for their condition. Compare this response – and don’t get us wrong, we understand their budget and logistic constraints – with the ordinary 112 Spanish state ambulance service, where if an ambulance is already out on call you will simply have to wait your turn.

During 2016 once again more British families than ever have signed up to be members at AAEdJ. Maybe this is because of all the promotion of their invaluable service that we have done at Female Focus magazine. Or maybe it is because of uncertainly about healthcare provision in Spain following the Brexit vote. But it is a very clear indication of all of our general desires to protect ourselves, our families, our loved ones and our friends.

For just €50 for a family for a whole of the year having this private emergency ambulance service available 24/7 for all 365 days of the year gives massive protection and peace of mind. What a wonderful Christmas present to get for yourself, your family, your relations or your friends.

The Head Office of Asociacion Amigos Europeos De Jávea is located at Avenida Juan Carlos 1, No 69, 03730 Jávea. (24 hr emergency telephone 96 579 6099). Email: amigos_europeos@yhoo.es. The telephone number for Laure Bolufer the Registration Manager is 96 579 6099 from 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday.
