FF - Now in our 24th year! By Amanda at Elegance Cosmetic Tattooing.
The Saline Removal Method is applied using permanent makeup equipment in a very similar fashion to how your original tattoo was first applied. In place of ink, a saline solution is used which penetrates the deeper layers of the skin to bond with ink molecules. As time passes the body naturally recognises these particles as foreign and pushes them to the surface of the skin, forming a scab that later heals free of any tattoo dye.

Can the eyebrow shape/ colour be corrected after some removal? Yes, many clients begin with sessions of removal, then decide once sufficient colour has been removed to have the remaining tattoo reworked. The removal process can be slow, but is much safer than many laser removal treatments, especially for darker skin types.
Benefits of Saline Method of Tattoo Removal: First of all, fewer treatments are required, as compared to Laser tattoo removal, to completely remove any tattoo or permanent makeup which saves you lots of money!
Most tattoos will appear lighter with the removal of some ink after one treatment. Generally, with just a few treatments, you will see significant results. Some tattoos have been removed with just one or two treatments. Since there is no way of knowing what type of ink or how much or how deep the ink was put into your skin, and since skin types vary, there is no guarantee on how many treatments will be needed to achieve satisfactory results.
Secondly, there is much less pain and discomfort than with the Laser which burns the skin. Our saline method is much more gentle on the skin, a less ablative procedure...with a faster healing time!
Thirdly, it removes almost every
colour! If you’ve investigated Laser tattoo removal...you will have found out that Lasers only remove “some” colours, not all. And, if the tattoo has any white ink or a mixture of white ink in it, the Laser will turn the skin black in those areas.
