Personal Training, Pilates, Yoga and Exercise to Music are more popular now in Spain than ever before. As a result, more and more training courses are needed, both for new instructors coming into the health and fitness industry and also for current instructors wanting to update their qualifications or wishing to expand the type of classes they teach.
For this reason Lorraine Young, who has been in the health and fitness industry for over 30 years and who has held senior positions such as Head of Health, Fitness and Sales for Edinburgh Leisure, has teamed up with Drummond Education, a highly recognised education academy in the UK, to open an instructor training school right here in Spain. Holding courses all over the Alicante area, this means that existing instructors can update their qualifications and anyone looking for a health and fitness qualification in Spain can now achieve this on their doorstep instead of having the expense and inconvenience of having to go to the UK. Also the courses are available at a more affordable cost, having been able to receive funding to fit in with the Spanish economy.

Lorraine is an instructor of BodyBalance, Pilates and Personal Training and holds her learning and development qualification and can teach and assess all courses. She has personally experienced many courses with Drummond Education over the years, and can independently vouch for their professionalism, teaching, guidance and support. Hence the reason for Lorraine to set up UK Pilates Academy-Spain in conjunction with Drummond, to bring their recognised modules and qualifications across to Spain.
