Benitachell Bowls Club have just hosted their B.B.C. Masters competition, in which ninety-five bowlers from the Costa Blanca and beyond competed over four days in teams of five, two days of Singles and Fours and two of Triples and Pairs, generously sponsored by Vives Pons Associados, Ginestar and Direkt Optik.

We’ve got the numbers!
The club, affectionately known as the B.B.C., was established in 1987, and is the only independent bowls club on the Costa Blanca, being owned and run entirely by its members. Situated in a beautiful and peaceful setting it boasts an excellent eight rink green. There is a comfortable clubhouse where members and their guests can relax after a match and enjoy a drink and a meal. This is also the main venue of a busy social scene, with numerous events held throughout the year.
As well as club days three times a week for players of all abilities, the club is represented in the Costa Blanca Winter League, with matches both north and south of Alicante throughout the season. In this highly competitive league B.B.C achieved second place last season. The club also enters three teams in the Northern League - Lions, Tigers and Jaguars. Lions have the extraordinary record of winning this league for the last seven seasons. B.B.C. are also the current Valencian League Champions.

We are pleased to be able to offer lessons, 1/1 tuition on Mondays from 12-2pm.
Beginners lessons will run for 10 weeks followed by 10 weeks mentoring during the Monday afternoon tournaments. Improvers lessons will run for 5 weeks followed by 5 weeks mentoring. Students preferred subjects will be taken into account.
