Careline Theatre: At the time of going to press, tickets for ‘The Full Monty’ production to be staged at Careline Theatre in Alcalali on 20th, 21st, and 22nd October are selling fast. Welcome to the Stage Diary, a column that since it was first launched in 2007, has become a major central point of reference to amdram on the Costa Blanca. Not only is it a guide to what’s on in all the regions, but is also an important on-line introduction to potential expat’s researching community life in Spain. The diary also acts as a planning guide to assist groups avoid unnecessary clashes of production dates.

Costa Barber Singers: The Barbershop singers started their season on 22nd September at their new venue, Casal de Asociaciones in Benissa. Guests and new singers are always welcome.

Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir: Once again, the Choir have been invited to take part in the Remembrance Service on 11th November at 10:30 in Moraira church. After the event, the choir start a busy season of carol concerts including; U3A in the Casa de Cultura, Denia on 17th November at 11:00. Further public carol concerts will be in held during December in Benitachell and Teulada churches.


GASP: The theatre group based in Gran Alacant are looking at various options and dates for their next production. Once again, comedy will be the theme.
