The Javea Auto Sales “Win A Car” Grand Raffle is on AGAIN!

For those of you that have lived here for a few years, you may remember that we gave away a car a few years ago to raise money for APASA in Javea. The raffle raised a significant amount for the charity, not to mention we had a local resident who won herself a huge prize!

This time round, we are going even BIGGER and BETTER and have joined with 4 other sponsors to create a prize that is one of the most valuable individual prizes ever offered in a local area raffle.

As well as ourselves, the four other sponsors are: * Villa Mia Estate Agents Javea - www.villamia.net * Blu Telecoms Spain - www.blu.es * Golden Leaves International - www.goldenleavesinternational.com

* Salamandra Charity Shop Javea - visit their Facebook page

All of these sponsors have been extremely generous and our thanks go to all of them for making this prize possible. For those of you who may be sceptical, as per our last raffle the prize itself is being sponsored for 100% of its value. If you purchase a five euro ticket, the WHOLE five euros will go directly to charity - all of the organisation costs and the value of the prize itself are 100% sponsored so if you purchase a ticket but don’t win the car, at least you can be happy in the knowledge that you have donated five euros to share between two very deserving causes.

This year we have chosen two charities to share the proceeds with as we hope to raise a huge amount of money. The first charity is the ISVH Bomberos in Javea, who did such an amazing job during the recent fires - our thanks go to them all and we hope that by giving a bit back we can help provide them with some much needed resources. The second charity is APAC Caballos, who rescue and re-habilitate ill treated horses - they have saved the lives of many animals over the years and assist in adoption programmes to re-home the animals once they are well enough (more information at www.apac-cv.es).

So what is the prize this time around? We have a fantastic Chevrolet Matiz 1.0 5 door to give away. First registered in 2006 and having covered less than 80,000 kilometres, this super little car is in excellent condition and comes complete with air conditioning, CD Radio and electric front windows. Valued at more than 3,500 euros, this is a huge prize to give away and even includes a new ITV, all transfer costs, full valet, comprehensive warranty and the car will be fully serviced and ready to enjoy.

The car will be taken to many events locally but if you would like to purchase your tickets in the meantime, then they are available from all of the main sponsors’ outlets, Kru Hair Salon, Javea and Nicola at Heaven Boutique in Javea.

We will add many more outlets in the run up to Christmas and for more information or to arrange for tickets in your area then please either contact us at Javea Auto Sales, or call the main orgainser (without whom none of this would be possible) Pat McCue on 626 923 869.

We hope that with your support, we can raise a massive amount of money for the two charities, not to mention that some lucky person is going to win themselves a car. Even if you don´t need another car, please purchase your tickets anyway – the winner will be free to do whatever they want with it, they could sell the car and go on a luxury holiday, donate the car to a worthy cause, give it to a family member or friend - the choice is yours!

On a personal level, our thoughts go out to all of those affected by the recent fires and we wish everyone well with getting themselves back to normal. Our thanks go to all of the local and national emergency services and to the many charities such as the Red Cross who have supported the community through these difficult times. The local spirit has been truly exceptional and we are all very proud to belong to this fantastic community.

Stay safe on the roads and we hope to see you soon here at Javea Auto Sales.
