Center, we headed for Edmunston and stayed at the Best Western Hotel, where we had a chance to sit outside and have a few cocktails before heading for the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia in the morning. Up and “on the road again” by 7
a.m. Wednesday, we were pumped and getting excited about seeing Wayne and his new home somewhere on the coast of Nova Scotia. Travelling the roads of New Brunswick, with it’s beautiful hills and valleys and lots of BEWARE OF MOOSE signs, we made our way to the Nova Scotia border, where again we scored a provincial map to find our way to Wayne’s secret hideaway. When we got close to Halifax-Dartmouth, it was time to call Wayne to get the proper directions. After a few conversations and passing through a few lovely fishing villages, we found our way to Wayne’s home. Wayne has had this piece of paradise
for 23 years, and it has only been in the last seven years that he decided to do the research and start to build. Being an entertainer and in the public eye for most of his adult life from radio, television and stage shows, it is good to have a space where you can enjoy the more laid-back lifestyle which is available to share with a few family and friends. After driving the one-kilometre
driveway we arrived at our destination. We see this beautiful three story home surrounded with ocean views, and there was Wayne, standing on the back step, large as life, waiting to greet us. The
