Bronze league ticket for Sarah Winterbottom and Arcane Z

Sarah Winterbottom from Glossop, was on winning form as she and her own Arcane Z tackled the challenge of the Horseware Bronze League Qualifier at Arena UK.

A sizable field of ninety-one contenders were focused on one of the three sought after qualification spots for the Semi Finals in August. With thirty- seven combinations producing an initial clear round to go through to the jump off, the action really heated up, as the clock played a big part in the placings.

Sarah had her work cut out as she was drawn first to go in the jump off on the 9 year- old grey mare, Arcane Z, but

held her nerve to produce a convincing clear in just 30.23 seconds, a time which proved too fast for her fellow competitors to beat!

Second place went to Rosie Gunn from Orston, on board her own 5 year-old liver chestnut gelding, Jagerbomb. This combination were hot on Sarah’s heels, producing their second clear round in just 30.94 seconds, just a fraction of a second shy of the winning time.

It was Olivia Carroll who took home third place. Riding her own 10 year-old bay mare, Gina Van T Vijvershof, they left all the fences standing in 32.32 seconds.
