Drinkaware recently released the “Drinkaware Monitor 2014,”

which provides statistics and information on how much people are drinking. Tey surveyed more than 2,000 people and found, for instance, that middle–age people are Britain’s hidden drinkers. 3.2 million people ages 45–64 regularly drink more than 18–24 year olds. Tere are insightful infographics included with these statistics to help people visualize the issue. Te aforementioned survey also found that 25 percent of

drinkers have experienced memory loss because of drink in the last year and 1 in 5 people would like to cut back on alcohol. See more results here: htp://www.drinkaware.co.uk/media/362885/ drinkaware_monitor_2014_adults.pdf. In July 2015, Drinkaware published its “Young People Report,”

which surveyed drinking habits of young people ages 10–17. Forty–three percent of them said they have had an alcoholic drink. Te report is available here: htp://www.drinkaware.co.uk/
