Anzac Street B+Bistro is now celebrating its third year since opening in July 2012. They introduced Polish- Mediterranean fusion cuisine to Dartmouth. Owner’s Simon & Aga are so thankful for the support

that they have received from everyone. They have met some wonderful people in Dartmouth and would like to say thank you to all. The menu changes from season to season and now with

the arrival of autumn the warming winter dishes will be introduced into the new menu in October. Anzac started hosting the very popular ‘SOLO NIGHTS’ held once a month on a Wednesday night 7pm during the autumn/winter season last year. They are back. on 29th October ,26th

November and 17th December. On Friday and Saturday nights, there’s music to

accompany your dinner – on Fridays, Louis plays mellow & ambient piano. Saturday is ‘Saturday Night Weaver’, with James Weaver playing acoustic guitar and keyboard. During the run up to Christmas, Anzac will be doing some special 2 course & 3 course set menus for local businesses & parties. Their new website is now online (www.anzacbistro.

co.uk) and over the next few weeks they will add new events and special offers for November.

Just weeks after opening, the Radio Dart Café Lounge in Higher Street is proving popular with visitors and locals who discover its unusual charm! They love the ambience, the wines, the tastes and the musical interaction. After a busy summer listening to customers, the team has developed a new menu of ideas, foods and social events to sustain, tempt and encourage regular and new visitors through the darker months. Starting with Food Festival Specials: Steak Tartare – locally supplied, hand-reared Dexter

beef, Super Chunky Chowder – with selected fresh monkfish, salmon, cod, mussels & prawns. Vegan Vision – quinoa, rice, vegetarian pate, tapenade. Barista and Latte Art demonstration by Coffeewest. Wine Tasting with specialist supplier and experts, Tanners Wines Then, since winter is a time for sharing, giving and huddling together as the cold winds blow, customers are invited to join in ‘putting something back’. Throughout the winter months, Radio Dart will promote good business and good causes with fundraising events and intimate suppers designed to entertain, inform and stimulate minds and tastebuds with different menus, demonstrations, talks, discussion, music and conversation. Everyone at Oopsydebsy’s would like to thank all of their supporters for giving them the best possible start for a new business.

A little fish told us that Mark Lobb has been selling the freshest fish you could hope to buy for 35 years from market stalls & on delivery rounds. This summer that all changed as he opened a shop in the corner of The Old Market from which he is selling fish & shellfish and game in season. At the Food Festival he will be launching some cooked tasty fish dishes to take home and will also be serving hot food to take away or to eat at his fish decorated benches. With crab and fish filleting workshops too, he will be

sharing his knowledge and passion for all things fishy to all. www.wildfooddevon.co.uk No 5 Old Market Square 07866706621 or 01803 832101

Andy, Paul, Rosina and the team welcome you to the

Dartmouth Arms. Go down to Bayards Cove and experience their extensive new menu that includes homemade specials everyday – their fantastic range of burgers, Tex Mex and the famous D.A pizzas. Along with the great food you can also enjoy a pint of

traditional ale or one of their draught lagers or ciders. A warm, relaxing atmosphere awaits at this traditional pub on the edge of Bayards Cove, with breathtaking views out towards the Dart estuary.

A warm local welcome also awaits when you embark on the family owned, award winning, Ship Inn Kingswear. They have over fifty years experience of purchasing and cooking the many superb varieties of local seafood available. They purchase only sustainable fish and shellfish daily from Beesands, Brixham Fish Market or from the quayside in Kingswear when possible.
