by the fact that the overall STV audience had increased in the last 12 months – the first time it has done so in 10 years. He said that STV, in its transmission area, now has three times the audience of Channel 4, four times the reach of


Channel 5 and 20 times that of Sky One. Ahead of this year’s MTV


Europe Music Awards in the city, Richard Godfrey, Executive Producer, in an event hosted by the Hard Rock Café, spoke to delegates about business opportunities surrounding the awards. In addition, he gave the audience a breakdown of the history of the MTV Europe Music Awards. He went onto discuss the


important role of Te Hydro in securing the city as a destination. Te awards will bring visitors from all over the world to Glasgow to celebrate European music.
