lasgow Airport has become the first airport in the UK to receive an


internationally recognised certificate for service and quality. Te site has achieved the


Airport Council International’s Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Assured Certification. ACI is the global trade association representing the interests of airports worldwide and the certification provides a seal of approval on the airport’s management of service quality and the facilities and services it provides to passengers. Glasgow Airport scored


highly in general facilities, arrival services, leadership and people management. Amanda McMillan, Managing


Director of Glasgow Airport, said: “We have paid significant atention to ASQ in recent years and we are extremely proud to have become the first airport in the UK to receive this accreditation.”

Young designer says YEZ to showcase

featured in fashion bibles Vogue and Grazia, joined a host of up-and-coming Glasgow businesses at the YEZ (Youth Enterprise Zone) showcase, which took place at the St Enoch Centre in February. The talented designer studied fashion design and manufacturing at Cardonald College before undertaking a BA in fashion business at Glasgow Caledonian University. She was shortlisted for Young Fashion Designer of the Year at the 2013 Scottish Fashion Awards and her signature bodycon dresses are worn by celebrities including Mollie King from The Saturdays. The YEZ showcase, which was the


first of its kind, was staged to highlight the achievements of the city’s young entrepreneurs and encourage more young people to start their own business.
