Master of Disguise is a fancy dress shop specialising in all things to do with costumes & current trends in

the party world.

With a collection of over 300 different costumes in stock plus thousands more which can be ordered to arrive within 4-5 days, they cater for all ages & for every conceivable party theme. There is also an impressive selection of accessories, hats, contact lenses, wigs & masks. Plus you can pop in any time for a make up tutorial with the team or simply ask for advice if you’re creating your costume at home.

If you’re looking for inspiration, just step inside. “The big trends at the moment all look back in time,” explains the owner Robin. “The 1980s, whether you have neon, New Romantics or Rock Divas in mind or your childhood TV icons such as He-Man, Bananaman and Where’s Wally. The 1940s & 1950s have also been popular since the Diamond Jubilee; and the roaring 20s since The Great Gatsby film release. In addition to time travelling trends, there is a great demand for super hero costumes, the more obscure the better!”

As well as costumes, there is a great range of gifts in store. They are one of the few shops in the U.K. selling Warner Bros movie replica props and memorabilia based on Lord of the Rings, The Da Vinci Code & Harry Potter. Plus there are mugs, wallets, sports bags & accessories, all themed on cult movies, retro T.V. shows and The Big Bang Theory.
