When the nights start drawing in we know that all-night dancing, festive celebrations and pub-to -club parties are in order. So as party season approaches, it’s time to catch up on all the must- try dress trends, from sequined to bodycon and beyond.
tartan fling
Tartan check isn’t just for daytime punking around – it’s also this season’s coolest print for partying. Sex things up with a strapless tartan frock and try wearing a plain white shirt or T underneath to add a 90s twist to your look. Accessorise with crucifix jewellery to get the full effect.
purple power
Purple is the party dress shade of choice this season, it’s been all over the catwalks and now you can get a high street frock to suit you in this head-turning shade. Balmain and Gucci didn’t shy away from plummy hues and moreish mauves so neither should you.
say it with sequins
No party season would be complete without a smattering of sparkles. November/December are a free zone when it comes to layering on the glitter and look-at-me embellishment. For a more subtle take on the trend try keeping sequins dark and mysterious.
winter florals
To really get ahead of the fashion pack try the winter florals trend. You won’t regret it. We’re obsessed with dark floral prints which make a nice change from your standard LBD. Whether you go for all over petal patterns or a single big bloom, nothing says on trend more than a floral print frock.
