StephenWildemann,president of Advanced Staging Productions,discussed how he has really seen his company evolve through the change process. The initial business model as an audio-visual rental company served them well until scanning the external environment made Wildemann realize that they were hitting a plateau and the current model had to change to accommodate the more tech- nologically savvy environment.
Additionally,Wildemann spoke to making significant changes over the past six-to- eight years. Also,as he got older,personal goals came into play during the change process,and focusing on sales became integral to meeting both professional and personal objectives.
As an organizational development profes- sional, I often utilize strategic visioning to help clients begin the change process. Visioning maps allow individuals, leaders and organizational members the opportu- nity to communicate via visualization for strategic decision support, innovation, strategy development,and planning of all types including personal visioning,which is a doorway to insight about your own visions, strategies,and implementation plans.
