A big night of winners T


he Glasgow Business Awards 2013 saw more than 650 guests turning out to celebrate the city’s achievements and


successes over the past 12 months. Now in its 16th year, the Glasgow Business Awards continues to grow in stature and, as this year’s record at endance demonstrated, has fi rmly established itself as the premier business event in the city. Big winners on the night included Barr


+ Wray, which won the Glasgow Business Award for International Trade, as well as the Bank of Scotland’s Award for Most Outstanding Business, and Glasgow Credit Union, which was awarded the title of Glasgow’s Favourite Business. T e awards ceremony concluded


with Vera Weisfeld of T e Weisfeld Foundation and What Everyone Wants, being honoured with the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce Award for Lifetime Achievement. Adding to the huge success of the


evening, the charity prize draw raised more than £7,000, which was split between Alzheimer Scotland and T e Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice. Stuart Patrick, Chief Executive of
