Glasgow Chamber of Commerce has tailored its benefi ts for diff erent groups of members


lasgow Chamber of Commerce is launching a new programme of benefi ts to enable


member businesses to make the most of their membership. Fees for existing members will


be unaff ected and new services are being added and improved in a layered approach which takes into account the size and motivations of companies at diff erent stages in their development. Glasgow Chamber of


Commerce exists to help its members to trade, save money on services, grow and infl uence. T is, in turn, helps the members to develop and strengthens the economy of the city and creates further opportunities for businesses, their suppliers and their staff to prosper and fl ourish. Executive, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are launching this new programme to enhance the off ering for our members. “We have listened to our


members and we want to ensure that the benefi ts that we provide as a Chamber, the benefi ts of belonging, are of real value in today’s commercial world and fi t each member business where they are today and where they want to be in future.” T e new approach will see


Chamber membership segmented into fi ve diff erent levels to bet er suit each business. T is will help member businesses to maximise their membership and fully utilise the benefi ts depending on their priorities, motivations and size. T e new levels are:


» Essential Aimed at micro businesses with one to 10 employees. Networking


is key to these members. » Essential Plus For businesses in the 11 to 50 employee range. T ese members


have a desire to grow their business. » Premier Generally for enterprises with 51 to 250 employees. T ey are


developing new markets, products and services. » Leaders


For those with 250+ employees. T ese members want to get more involved in leadership issues in the city and region. » Partner/Platinum Partner


For businesses who wish to make a signifi cant contribution to Glasgow Chamber and who will gain an appropriate level of access to senior Chamber events, including Infl uencers Dinners.
