Exhibition in The View, Dunblane Library during April Around Bridge-of-Allan and Dunblane
The exhibition is based on photographs taken during the past two years by Ann Shaw, local artist/writer and photographer. Ann, a former journalist with “The Herald” in Glasgow belongs to the online photographic community
Blipfoto.com where members post a daily photo from their lives recording life in their local community. Highlights recorded in Ann’s diary from 2012 include the Olympic torch Silver Jubilee celebrations and Andy Murray’s Gold Post Box.
About Ann Shaw: Born in Wales, worked on newspapers in London, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Took redundancy from The Glasgow Herald in 1997 to go to Glasgow School of Art. Graduated from their prestigious Department of Environmental Art in 2001. Now works as freelance writer, artist/photographer. Founder member and secretary of Forth Valley Open Studios, lives in Bridge of Allan with her husband.
