FANCYPANTS is the dreamchild of Gayle Rick- etts, who likes to sew, has unusually long legs, and was unable to find comfortable riding breeches – even among the high-end “longs”.
With a background in fine arts, it was only natural, that she decided to make her own, adding unique design aspects to the line (the first was scalloped pockets). Soon, other riders who saw her “fancy pants” were ask- ing her to make breeches for them, too. The idea grew from there, and Fancy Pants was born in 2009.
