L2 LEVEL 2 VRQ DIPLOMA IN HAIRDRESSING


COURSE LENGTH: 1 year


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:


ASSESSMENT:


4 GCSEs grades D or above including English Language or equivalent OR Merit or Distinction at an appropriate Level 1 programme.


Coursework and practical assessments plus online tests. Practical activities in our hairdressing salons and theory- based classroom sessions.

PROGRESSION:


 Working in the industry.  Cutting techniques for women’s hair.


 Art of dressing hair.


Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing subject to a satisfactory interview and reference.

COURSE LENGTH: 1 year


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:


ASSESSMENT:


Pass at an appropriate Level 2 Hairdressing qualification. Students must be working in a salon as a stylist on a permanent basis


Coursework and practical assessments and online assessments. Practical activities in our hairdressing salons and theory based classroom sessions.


 Fashion colouring  Advanced cutting  Colour correction


NVQ Level 4 or working in a salon as a stylist
