Course Length: Awarding Body:


1 year for AS, 1 year for A-Level. EDEXCEL


Entry requirements: Standard plus Maths at grade B or above.

Maths is a prerequisite for many professions. Students study core (pure) Maths and two applied Maths papers choosing from:


 Core Maths  Statistics

Course Information:


This course covers the use of IT in business. Much of the course is concerned with the effective management of IT systems. Units of study include:


 Practical problem-solving in the digital world.  Living in the digital world.  The use of ICT.  Practical issues involved in the use of ICT.


Examination only. There is no coursework.


ICT (Information Communication Technology)

1 year for AS, 1 year for A-Level OCR


Entry requirements: Standard entry plus Maths at grade B or above.


Assessment:


AS: Two written exams. One exam on the coursework. A-Level: One written exam and one coursework project report.
