Why study at EFC? Pastoral Tutors
As well as your course tutors, all full-time students have a Pastoral Tutor who is there to guide you through your life at College. They will first meet you at induction and see you on a regular basis in your course group and on a one-to-one basis.
They will monitor your attendance and achievement and support you throughout your time at College to enable you to achieve your highest potential.
Your Pastoral Tutor is the first person to talk to if you need any help or advice. If they cannot deal with the problem themselves they will refer you to another member of staff who can. The tutor will give you the support required to make the most of your time here and ensure that you are safe, treated with respect and have equal opportunities to learn. This will include:
Regular 1:1 tutorial sessions to discuss your progress
Dealing with patterns of non-attendance and poor punctuality.
