Richard has Williams syndrome. This is a rare condition which causes delayed speech.
Richard finds verbal communication difficult and has 1-1 support where ever he goes to assist with making himself understood. To help Richard with communication staff go out of their way to say ‘Hello Richard’.
Richard has progressed well by engaging with simple dialogue. He has learnt how to say, ‘Hello’ to people and remember to say their first names.

Nothing is too much trouble for Georgina, she is always enthusiastic and willing to get involved in additional activities such as open events. Georgina has outstanding client care, and has received excellent feedback from the clients that come to the College salon.
Richard has been learning to use an electronic Attainment Talker
It was his father’s wish was that Richard would be able to communicate to him about what he does during the day. By his own determination and using the Attainment Talker Richard can now tell his father what he has done in lessons.

Hollie has been a dependable and hardworking student over 2 years at EFC. She has an exemplary record of attendance and punctuality and she has taken part in numerous extra curriculum activities.
As a musician she has been a model of high-level consistency - all the while quietly evolving and developing. All who have played alongside her would vouch for the vital stability she brings in any musical scenario.
As a student Hollie’s effort and commitment are without question. She has not always found Level 3 easy, but she has always persevered and always achieved.
