...and want to go back to full time education?

Have you missed out on getting qualifications when you were younger? In many cases you can return to full time education and have your tuition fees funded or partially funded.

 Are you aged 19 - 23? (on 31st August 2013)  Did you get low grade GCSEs at school?  Do you need to study Entry Level or Level 1 before moving on to study for a Full Level 2 qualification? If the answer to these questions is ‘Yes’ and you don’t yet have a Full Level 2 qualification equal to 5 GCSEs at C or above, or an equivalent qualification, you can do this for no cost. You do have to give a commitment to progress to a Level 2 qualification if you are successful with your Level 1 or Entry Level course. This fee remission category can only be claimed for one year, prior to progressing to Level 2. If you are aged 24 or over you will need to pay half the cost of the course in fees, unless you are studying for GCSE Maths or English which are free. Please see our Student Fees Assesment to check if you are eligible for help with your fees.

 Are you aged 19 – 23? (on 31st August 2013)  Did you miss out on getting A-Levels at school or college?  Do you want to study for a Full Level 3 qualification? If the answer to these questions is ‘Yes’ and you don’t yet have a Full Level 3 qualification you can do this at no cost. If you are aged 24 or over you can apply for one of the new student loans to cover the cost of your fees. Please contact our Student Welfare team for further information on how to apply. The majority of Level 3 qualifications are full-time. Although some of our full-time courses are set up to reflect the needs of school leavers, many of our full-time courses are vocational and are suitable for both adults and school leavers for full-time study. Please also refer to our part-time guide for Part-Time Level 3 courses.
