Cr Bernard Gross
Cr Bernard Gross has served as a Councillor for 25 years. He joined the Horsham Rural City Council in 1997, following 10 years as a Councillor with the Wimmera Shire from 1985, including one term as President in 1994. He has also served two terms as Mayor in 2000 and 2008. Cr Gross is committed to improving his local area and the continued growth of our municipality.
Cr Gross is the Council representative for the following committees: Business and Industry Liaison Group, Chief Executive Evaluation, Grampians Regional Waste Management Group, Green Lake Committee of Management, Horsham Municipal Fire Management Planning Committee, Horsham Regional Livestock Exchange Committee of Management, Local Advisory Fire Prevention Committee, Municipal Emergency Management Committee, Municipal Fire Management Planning Committee, Western Highway Action Committee, Wimmera Development Association, Wimmera Intermodal Freight Terminal Precinct Structure Plan Project Control Group, Wimmera Intermodal Freight Terminal Working Group and Wimmera Regional Transport Group.
Cr Lindy Muller
Cr Lindy Muller was elected to Council in November 2008 for a four-year term. Her motivation is to improve the lives of residents in terms of care and wellbeing.
Cr Muller is the Council representative for the following committees: Awakenings Disability Arts Festival, Central Activity District Strategy Steering Committee, Chief Executive
Evaluation, Disability Access Plan Steering Committee, Finance Committee, Haven Recreation Reserve Committee of Management, Horsham and Environs Framework for Managing Growth Steering Committee, Horsham Heritage Study Stage 1 Steering Committee, Planning Sub-Committee, Sport and Recreation Advisory Committee, Wimmera Disability Access Forum and Wimmera River Improvement Committee.
Cr Mark Radford
Cr Mark Radford was elected in November 2008 and is currently serving his fi rst term on Council. Cr Radford is an active participant in community programs and his greatest passion is people.
Cr Radford is the Council representative for the following committees: Chief Executive Evaluation, Horsham Aquatic Centre Advisory Committee, Horsham College/Community Oval Committee of Management, Horsham and Environs Framework for Managing Growth Steering Committee, Horsham Outdoor War Memorial Swimming Pool Project Steering Committee, Horsham Town Hall/Art Gallery Fundraising Working Group, Horsham Town Hall Project Control Group, Horsham Town Hall Steering Committee, Natimuk Community Building Initiative Committee, NEXUS Board of Management, Planning Sub-Committee and Victorian Local Government Association.
Cr Michael Ryan
Cr Michael Ryan joined Council in 2005 and served two terms as Mayor from 2009 to 2011. Cr Ryan is committed to ensuring that Horsham Rural City Council is open and transparent in its operations and encourages increased community consultation in decision-making.
