This annual celebration, sponsored by Nickelodeon, promotes active play for kids. We will be hosting fun, youth-oriented activities in three categories including: health/fitness, music, and sports/games. Bring the family to Barbara Key Park for all the fun as well as some fitness and nutrition tips for kids.
Time 11:00AM - 1:00PM
This FREE event for youth ages 6 - 15 will test both boys and girls in the separate areas of punting, passing, and kicking. Come early to participate in the Worldwide Day of Play. Winners in each category will advance to a sectional competition at a nearby community.

HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST Who has the scariest or cheeriest house in Lake in the Hills? Call in
your own creation, or elect your neighbors, and we’ll come around on Thursday, Oct. 18, to judge. NOTE: Contestants’ addresses will be listed on the Village’s web page so people can view the homes. All winners must keep their creations up through Halloween. Winners will receive a gift certificate to a Lake in the Hills restaurant. Call 847. 960. 7460 to register. Only the first 20 Lake in the Hills homes to register are eligible for judging.

DECORATING CONTEST The winter holidays always seem to bring out the best in decorations, and we want to be the judge. Call in your own creation, or elect your neighbor’s, and we’ll come around on Tuesday, December 18, to judge. Winners will receive a gift certificate to a Lake in the Hills restaurant. Categories will include: Best Overall Display and The Clark Griswold Award. All registrants will have their address posted on the
LITH.org website. Registration is accepted by calling 847. 960. 7460. Only the first 20 Lake in the Hills homes to register are eligible for judging.
