BIRTHDAYS & ALL OCCASION CARDS Giving handmade cards is fun and a unique way to show you care. Make 10 handmade cards for birthday and all occasion in this class. We will use an assortment of tools and embellish- ments including die cut machines, stamps, paper, ribbon, ink, and punches. Please plan to bring 1 roll of any permanent tape runner adhesive available in the scrapbooking department at any local craft store. Each session is different so register for both. (1 class)

Learn the lost art of crocheting. Begin by learning the basic stitches such as chain, single, double and triple crochet. We will get you started on completing a pot holder. Plastic Canvas Needlepoint Have you ever wanted to learn to needlepoint on plastic Canvas?

Airbrushing


This class is designed for both the beginner and those who are more advanced with the airbrush. The instructor will challenge each student at their own skill level. Be prepared to learn about the different parts of the airbrush, how the airbrush works, how to mix paints, and most importantly, how to keep the airbrush clean. Practicing different techniques such as hand-eye coor- dination, making stencils and patterns, and masking off will be covered. Students will learn different applications on a variety of materials and surfaces and will go home with a finished project. Class requires an additional $10 materials fee paid to the in- structor at the first class. Please bring your lunch for this all day class. If you have your own airbrush and compressor, you can bring it, otherwise it will be provided. (1 class)

Intro to Woodcarving for Adults This introduction to woodcarving class will have you walking away


with a hand carved and painted fish or bird. Students will learn a 3-D form of art which incorporates sculpting and painting. Their instruction includes woodcarving with power tools, wood burning, and finishing with paint. Power tools are used in this class so there will be no knifes or dangerous materials used. Class requires an additional $10 materials fee paid to the instructor at the first class. (3 classes)

Watercolor


This class is for both beginning watercolor students as well as for those who have some previous experience with other water-based media. Previous experience with drawing is helpful, but not necessary. The structure of the course allows for one-on-one instruction as well as student-to-student interaction in a small group setting. Students with little or no experience will explore beginning instruction with materials and techniques. Students with previous experience may work more in- dependently with respects to techniques and subject matter. Students will be expected to provide their own materials, subject matter, and any source for reference material needed. A suggested materials list will be sent out. (8 classes)
