Several classes of students attending the Lake in the Hills Preschool Academy will move into the newly renovated Annex Building for the 2012/2013 school year. Housed in the former Fire Station at 2 East Oak Street, the Annex facility includes 2 all-new classrooms designed specifically for preschoolers. The facility is located across the street from the Lake in the Hills Police Department’s Safety Education Center, and is a short walk from Ryder Park, allowing preschool students ample opportunities for outdoor play time and educational fun. Much of the demo work was completed by the Lake in the Hills Parks Division, with contractors hired to complete the interior build- out. Decorative custom wall murals generously donated and painted by Lake in the Hills residents Caroline and Magnolia Rendon add a touch of whimsy to the interior.
To take a tour of the new classrooms, or our facilities at Village Hall and Indian Trail Beach, call 847. 960. 7460.
