Their pure size in proportion with other fabric elements, concentrates colour or pattern in such a way that the whole scheme of the room is inevitably influenced, if not dominated by them.
The weight, colour and texture of your chosen fabric will have a dramatic effect on the quantity and quality of light entering a room, creating and influencing the atmosphere and mood, and dictating if the final effect is cosy and warm, or a cool
refreshing ambiance. The right style of curtain is the quickest way to soften a stark interior, bring brightness and colour to a room, or conceal an unpleasant view. It can be as simple as a sheer threaded onto a pole, or as ornate as a luxurious display of swags and tails with heavy hanging drapes.

Whereas for men, too many cushions are just an irritating annoyance, items that have no cons t ruct ive use and are there to be thrown on the floor with grunts and groans whenever they want to sit down.... sound familiar?
